Weimar Porzallen was established in 1790 and one of its first comissions was to provide porcelain to the Russian royal court. They are the second oldest producer of fine porcelain in Germany. Weimar porcelain is lead-free, chip resistant, strong and lightweight and it is known for its rich, deep colors. Weimar Porzallen is especially known for the use of Cobalt, which is a rare and expensive porcelain color. All of the Cobalt and the 24K Gold decorations are hand painted. Formerly available only in Europe, Weimar Porzallen has now established a presence in the United States. We are pleased to offer this exquisite fine porcelain tableware at prices that make it possible for anyone to own a set of fine dishes that they will be proud to use and display.
