Frequently Asked Questions
What payment methods do you accept? HPC accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express cards. We also accept payments via PayPal and check or money order.
Is my credit card information secured? HPC takes privacy very seriously. All credit card information is encrypted using 128/256 bit strong SSL encryption and is certified through DigiCert.
I'm not comfortable entering my credit card information on-line, how can I place an order? We realize that some customers may not be comfortable entering in their credit card online. If this is the case, you can place your order on-line and choose the fax option as a payment method. You may then fax your order to us for processing. Be sure to include your credit card number, expiration date, and security code (3 digits on back of Mastercard, Visa, or Discover or 4 digits non-embossed on the front of your Amex Card). Why does shipping seem expensive? When you are placing an order, we contact both Fedex and USPS real-time to obtain the shipping cost. We send the actual weight of the items to obtain the prices. These are the actual costs charged to us by the carriers. Fedex charges fuel surcharges based on location and at times charges different rates based on commercial addresses and residential addresses. Do you accept phone orders? For our mutual protection, we only accept orders and requests on-line, via fax or via US Mail. Everything needs to be in writing to avoid any confusion or misunderstandings. Please do not ask to place an order over the phone as our policy is not to accept such orders.
How can I contact you? Please use the "Contact Us" page. All replies are via e-mail (or US mail if you request it). Again, this is for our mutual protection.
Why didn't I receive a reply to my e-mail or contact request? In order to receive a reply, you must allow e-mail form the domain homepreparations.com to be accepted. Otherwise, the reply will end up in your spam folder. Please contact your ISP if you need assistance in setting up your e-mail filters.
Do you participate in any "Green Initiatives"? We believe in a good clean and safe environment. Whenever possible, we use recycled material for shipping. This includes boxes and packing materials.
Do you donate to charitable organizations? We receive numerous requests throughout the year from charitable organizations in every part of the country. If you represent a charitable organization as recognized with your state and the IRS, feel free to contact us with your request. Unfortunately, due to the number of requests, we are unable to accomodate every request.
Do you have a retail store I can visit? We do not have a retail store at this time. We are an Internet business only.
